A Four Year Old’s Lost and Found

This morning, my oldest son realized he left his English book at Study Hall. The middle child left his water bottle at school and his guitar at home. For the first, we had to look around campus. Still missing. For the second, I will have to drive back to school with his guitar before band practice.

Sigh.

But when we got to the Lost and Found bin in the Lower School, my four year old kept looking around, confused.

“Where is it?” he asked.

“What?”

“The fountain.” He spun around as if it had disappeared magically behind his back.

“The what?”

“The Lost and Fountain, so we can find the book.”
